Military Families

James B. McMillan Elementary School is certified as a Nevada Purple Star School. It is a designation provided to military-friendly schools that display a commitment to serving military-connected students and families. The certification signals that our school supports the social and emotional well-being of military children adjusting to new school settings as well as the absence of a parent during deployment.
